Bryan Moyer Suderman combines his love of God, passion for the church, and delight in singing with all ages with a fascination for folk music traditions from around the world. He sets biblical stories and themes to music in a singable way for "small and tall" alike, with catchy tunes, a variety of instruments, and a spirit that invites you to join in. [Singing to child]

Bryan has years of experience performing and inspiring people to sing, whether gathered in a church basement with children and families, singing for peace on Parliament Hill, or leading 7,000 worshippers at the Mennonite World Conference Assembly in Zimbabwe. Audiences respond to the warmth of his voice, the contagious nature of his songs, and his signature interactive style of singing and song leading.

Since the release of the album God's Love is for everybody in November 2002, Bryan's "songs for small and tall" have become favourites with families and churches across North America and beyond, and have been used in congregations, camps, schools, ecumenical worship services, conferences, seminary courses, Sunday School and Vacation Bible School curriculum, a couple of recent hymnals... not to mention being played over and over again in cars and homes! Bryan's 2005 album Can't Keep Quiet! is another lively collection of original tunes that are at once simple, catchy, profound, and fun. And the 2007 release My Money Talks: songs for worship is already receiving considerable attention in the broader church community and press as an album that is deeply scriptural, intensely personal, musically memorable, and readily singable.

Another new initiative is a membership system where households and congregations/organizations can become a member of smallTall Music and receive regular "deliveries" of new songs of faith for small and tall, along with music notation and chords and other resources, via download from this Web site.

In addition to his smallTall Music releases God's Love is for Everybody, Can't Keep Quiet! and My Money Talks, Bryan's recording credits include albums with Huellas and Licanantay (two Latin American folkloric music groups), participation in various recordings of worship music, as well as having contributed to two CDs recently released by Mennonite Central Committee to support those impacted by HIV/AIDS in Africa (To Such as These: Songs and Lullabies for Children of the World and The Light Shines: Songs and Carols for the Christmas Season). Bryan also provided some back-up vocals for the recent album by children's entertainer Bob King (best known as the writer of the song Sandwiches are Beautiful). Bryan also served as producer of Songs from Africa 2003, a CD recording of the Mennonite World Conference International Choir, of which he was a member.

[Family] Bryan is a former youth pastor, teacher, and overseas mission worker, who holds degrees in Theology, History, and Education. Born in Winnipeg and having lived in 6 countries and 3 Canadian provinces, Bryan has a keen sense of being part of the worldwide family of God, participating together in what he likes to call "God's great global sing-along."

[Farm Life] Bryan lives with his wife and son in a 150 year old farmhouse at a place called Willowgrove, near Stouffville, Ontario (just north of Toronto). They are members of Community Mennonite Church of Stouffville. Bryan feeds sheep, cows, chickens, goats, pigs, and a donkey every day before eating breakfast and making music.
